Fish: Koi – Menkaburi Kohaku

In a moment of dire consequences, Susumu進 the Japanese Koi, undertook the perilious challenge to follow the bureaucratic path and get all the necessary documents to come and visit the city. In order to combine business and pleasure, he took this chance to help solve the catastrophic moral failure affecting the labour market, without asking for whatsoever reward or monetary remuneration. To him go the citizenry’s enduring affection and gratitude.

MMXIV

“There are relatives to be visited, they live abroad; they have habits and customs different from yours and mine; there’s a lot to be learnt, I know. It’s an exciting experience I want to make: places to be seen, new flavours and fragrances to taste. Passport is ready, vaccinations are not mandatory, luggage must be thoroughly thought of; I’ve rather travel light. My notebook is ready with it’s pencil carefully sharpened. Henceforth, my only worry is just to remember to carry out all the necessary customs formalities.”

Susumu.
