NOT.EBOOK 1, is my new illustrated notebook, with images from my exhibition ‘Milano in bìlico’, ‘Milano in the balance’, a series of works inspired by the history of Milan as it has never been recounted in academic texts: small facts and serious crises providentially resolved by characters who loved the city and were remembered by its citizens, but then ended up in oblivion with their heroes. These include the great heat wave of ‘49 (16th century), the sudden glaciation of ’38 (14th century), the expulsion of the loan sharks in the 19th century or the manhole uprising in 1325.Fortunately, as can be seen in this small collection of events between the oneiric and the verisimilar, Milan has always managed and this bodes well for the future.

Many pages to write, draw or scribble on, carrying you into the parallel universe of your own imagination.

The pages are diverse (except for a few blank ones), as every day of our lives should be. After all, creativity means giving life to something always new. This notebook is a useful tool for jotting down ideas, unique and often unrepeatable moments that would otherwise be lost in the unstoppable flow of existence.
